About Darwen Pool
Darwen Pool Association has been in existence for over 30 years serving pool players from clubs and pubs from across the Darwen Area.
The DPA was formed for the purpose of promoting pool amongst all players in the Darwen area.
All games are played on Monday nights commencing at 8pm. Registration is open to all public houses and clubs in the BB3 area which covers Darwen and Lower Darwen.
2010 was our second season playing the World Rules, as defined by the English Pool Association, and this change allowed us to affiliate to the Lancashire County Pool Association. 2010 saw the return of Darwen to the Men’s Interleague competition, in 2011 we are also entering the Ladies Interleague competition.
2010 also saw players from Darwen making a return to the Lancashire men’s and Under 18’s county teams, and Lancashire is looking good to take the North West titles in both, along with the Lancashire Ladies.
